Sigrid van Grinsven

Sigrid van Grinsven leads research in Geomicrobiology at the University of Tübingen's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences as a Junior Group Leader. Her investigations center on iron and methane cycling in environmentally sensitive systems including wetlands, permafrost regions, and lake sediments, with emphasis on greenhouse gas dynamics and carbon-nutrient interactions.
