Prof. Siegfried R. Waldvogel is a Full Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and Director at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion (MPI CEC) since 2023. He is also an Honorary Professor at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since 2024.
His research focuses on Organic Electrochemistry, Oxidative Coupling Reactions, Supramolecular Chemistry, and Sensors for Hazardous Compounds, with an emphasis on sustainable synthesis and electrode innovation.
