Siegfried Beckus is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics, University of Potsdam, Germany, since 2020. His work focuses on spectral theory of Schrödinger operators on graphs with aperiodic ordered potentials, dynamical systems, and operator algebras. He has also contributed to the study of Delone sets, graph limits, and aperiodic tilings.
- Education: PhD in Mathematics (2016) and Diploma (2012) from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany.
- Research Interests: Spectral theory of quantum systems, aperiodic order, groupoids, C*-algebras, and applications to quasicrystals.
