Dr. Siddharth Savadatti is a Senior Lecturer in the College of Engineering at the University of Georgia, specializing in engineering education innovation. He holds a PhD in Computational Mechanics from North Carolina State University (2011). His teaching focuses on mechanics, numerical methods, and engineering analysis, with courses like Statics, Fluid Mechanics, and Finite Element Analysis delivered through traditional, online, and flipped formats.
His research emphasizes educational technologies, including virtual reality (VR) simulations for fluid mechanics and statics, flipped classroom strategies, and assessment feedback mechanisms. Notable contributions include VR-based learning platforms, mobile tracked displays for engineering education, and studies on student engagement through self-assessment techniques.
Dr. Savadatti has received the UGA Creative Teaching Award for his pedagogical innovations.
