Sibel Korkmaz is a Lecturer at the Department of Social Work, Stockholm University, specializing in youth intimate partner violence. She completed her Ph.D. in 2021 with a dissertation on violence in young people's relationships, which earned the Barnafrid Prize for Thesis of the Year. Her research focuses on prevalence patterns, resilience mechanisms, and institutional responses to youth violence, funded by the Swedish Crime Victims' Agency, Swedish Equality Authority, Forte, and Norwegian Ministry of Justice.
