Sibel BASARAN

Prof. Dr. Sibel Basaran is a faculty member at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She also leads the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department at Çukurova University Faculty of Health Sciences and serves in multiple administrative roles, including the Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Committee.

Her research focuses on musculoskeletal pain, stroke rehabilitation, vitamin D deficiency, and geriatric care. She has contributed extensively to studies on osteoarthritis, lymphedema, and neuromuscular disorders, with recent work addressing post-COVID-19 rehabilitation and earthquake-related pediatric prosthetics.

Her publications highlight trends in randomized controlled trials, biomarker analysis, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation. She is affiliated with the Turkish Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association, Turkish Geriatrics Association, and Pediatric Rehabilitation Association.
