معرفی
Siân Dutton is a Professor of Physics and Solid State Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and a Director of Studies in Natural Sciences (Physical Part IA) at Jesus College. Her research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and functional properties of inorganic materials, particularly for energy applications and quantum magnetism.
- Education: BA Hons (Chemistry, University of Cambridge), MA Cantab (University of Cambridge), DPhil (Chemistry, University of Oxford)
Research Interests: Dutton investigates geometrically frustrated magnetic systems, battery materials, hybrid perovskites, and crystallographic phase transitions. Her work bridges experimental and computational approaches to understand structure-property relationships in materials.
Recent Publications: Her studies highlight advancements in Jahn-Teller ordering, glass formation in hybrid perovskites, and magnetoelastic coupling in frustrated lattices, reflecting interdisciplinary collaborations across materials science and physics.
Laboratory: The Dutton Group operates from the Maxwell Centre, focusing on energy materials and quantum matter research.
