Shuo Yang, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the College of Business and Public Management, Kean University. His office is located in Hynes Hall 404, and he can be contacted via email at shyang@kean.edu or phone at (908) 737-4220. Dr. Yang earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of British Columbia in 2015.
His research focuses on critical areas in accounting and finance, including:
- Non-GAAP financial reporting practices
- Regulatory frameworks for corporate disclosures
- Corporate governance mechanisms and their impact on financial transparency
Dr. Yang teaches foundational and advanced accounting courses including Principles of Accounting I (ACCT2200) and Financial Accounting for Corporations (ACCT5120).
