Shuo Niu

Dr. Shuo Niu is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Clark University, specializing in human-computer interaction and social computing. His research focuses on analyzing collaborative and community activities on video-sharing platforms like YouTube and TikTok, with particular interest in socio-technical infrastructure, mental health implications, and AI algorithm impacts.

Dr. Niu has published at top-tier conferences including ACM CHI, CSCW, and GROUP. Current projects examine racism/racial movements, mental health support mechanisms, and socio-technical aspects of video-sharing platforms.
