Dr. Shota Noda serves as a Research Fellow within the Translational Clinical Psychology group (Hofmann Group) at the Department of Clinical Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, Philipps University of Marburg. He holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Musashino University and maintains certifications as a psychologist, clinical psychologist, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher with extensive professional experience in Japan.

His research program centers on the psychopathology of social anxiety disorders through cognitive behavioral therapy frameworks and mindfulness-based interventions. As a certified MBSR instructor, he integrates contemplative practices into both clinical applications and research protocols.
At Marburg, he collaborates with Prof. Dr. Stefan G. Hofmann's team to advance translational research bridging clinical practice and empirical investigation, with particular emphasis on evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders across diverse cultural contexts.
