Shona Russell is a Senior Lecturer at the University of St Andrews, affiliated with the School of Management. She co-leads the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research and serves as Associate Director for the Centre for the Study of Philanthropy & Public Good. Russell contributes to editorial boards of Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal and Social and Environmental Accountability Journal.
- Research Focus: Governance and accountability for environmental sustainability, biodiversity accounting, and interdisciplinary knowledge production in climate science/policy.
- Teaching: Courses in sustainable development, global management issues, and environmental accounting.
