Shohreh Parham

Shohreh Parham is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) and a Lecturer/Researcher in AMSIB (CEDIS). She holds a PhD from Maastricht School of Management (2016) and was an Honorary Research Fellow there (2017-2019). Her research focuses on remote work, work-life balance in academia, pandemic impacts on education and employment, and human resource management in evolving industries. She has conducted comparative studies across the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, addressing topics like online education efficacy, multi-generational workforce dynamics, and logistical adaptations to Industry 4.0.

She has been recognized with the Best DBA Dissertation Award (2017) and has contributed to journals like the European Journal of Higher Education and the International Journal of Economics, Commerce and Management. Her work emphasizes lived experiences of academic staff during remote work transitions and the psychological impacts of crises on productivity. Parham has also engaged in collaborative research with institutions like Mahidol University International College and maintains visiting roles at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences and the Swiss School of Management.

Her research portfolio spans six publications since 2017, with trends toward post-pandemic labor dynamics and educational resilience. She actively participates in academic conferences, editorial reviews, and international research networks, contributing to both theoretical and applied knowledge in business management and education sectors.
