Dr. Shohei Mori is a Junior Research Group Leader at the Visualization Research Center (VISUS) of the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and a Guest Associate Professor at Keio University, Japan. His research focuses on computational Mediated Reality, combining Augmented and Diminished Reality to address human-centered visual computing challenges. Key applications include education, entertainment, and cinematography.
He has received numerous awards, including the IEEE ISMAR 2023 Best Journal Paper Award, IEEE VR 2022 Best Journal Paper Award, and multiple presentation/demonstration awards.
