Shirley Sharp is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Field Education in the BSW Program at Nazareth College's Department of Social Work. She has been a faculty member since 1977, serving both full-time and part-time over her career. Her roles include teaching foundation BSW practice courses and overseeing field education. Prior to academia, she practiced in diverse social work settings, including family service agencies and residential treatment facilities. She actively consults on Interactional Supervision methodologies and co-facilitates a sexuality education program in the county jail with colleague Mark Primus.
