Shinya Tasaki, PhD, serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush Medical College, Rush University, and holds a dual appointment as Computational Neuroscientist at the RUSH Alzheimer’s Disease Center.
His research focuses on Computational Neuroscience methodologies applied to Neurological Disorders, with specialized expertise in Alzheimer's Disease pathophysiology. Dr. Tasaki employs advanced computational models to analyze neurodegenerative processes, cognitive decline patterns, and biomarker identification in dementia research.
As an integral member of the RUSH Alzheimer’s Disease Center, he contributes to multidisciplinary research initiatives targeting early detection and mechanistic understanding of Alzheimer's pathology through quantitative neuroscientific approaches.
