Dr. Shingo Shimizu is a Senior Researcher at the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED), Japan, and a Visiting Professor at Yokohama National University's Advanced Research Institute for Science and Technology, Typhoon Science and Technology Research Center.
