Dr. Shin Kanaya is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Essex. His academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2008), and master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Tokyo. He has held his current position since December 2019.
Dr. Kanaya's research focuses on econometric methodology, particularly in stochastic processes, nonparametric estimation, and discrete choice models with social interactions.
