Shiliang Wu is a Professor of Geological and Mining Engineering and Sciences and a Professor of Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering at Michigan Technological University (MTU). He holds a PhD in Atmospheric Science from Harvard University. His research focuses on interactions between climate, atmospheric chemistry, air quality, and land use/cover, with an emphasis on global change impacts, anthropogenic perturbations, and atmosphere-biosphere interactions.
