Shikhar Acharya

Shikhar Acharya is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at the University of North Texas at Dallas. He specializes in Business Analytics, focusing on the detection of malicious devices using machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling, while also exploring how data science can enhance organizational efficiency.

• Education: Ph.D. in Systems Engineering (Missouri University of Science and Technology), MBA in Finance, and B.Sc. in Computer Engineering

He has designed and improved courses including Spreadsheet Data Analysis, Applied Business Analytics, Predictive Modeling, and Data Analytics Programming. Recently, he received a grant from The Center for Socioeconomic Mobility Through Education (CSME) for his research on socioeconomic analysis near UNT Dallas.
