Shih-Yuan Liu is a Professor of Chemistry at Boston College, affiliated with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a B.S. from Vienna University of Technology and a Ph.D. from MIT. His research focuses on developing boron-nitrogen (BN)-containing heterocycles, particularly azaborines, exploring their potential in materials science, drug discovery, and hydrogen storage. Key areas include organic synthesis, catalysis, and optoelectronic materials.
