Sherry Sinift

Sherry Sinift is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee String Academy, specializing in pre-college violin and viola education. She is a dedicated performer and advocate for string education, having founded and directed the String Academy of Wyoming (1994–2023). Her roles include university-level violin/viola pedagogy, studio teaching, and supervising the University of Wyoming String Project, which trained future music educators. She holds degrees from Western Michigan University (B.M.) and Indiana University (M.M.).
