Sherry H. Suyu

Prof. Sherry H. Suyu is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a Max Planck Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (MPA), affiliated with the TUM School of Natural Sciences and the Department of Physics. Her research focuses on observational cosmology, dark energy, galaxy formation, and gravitational lensing of quasars and supernovae. She leads the H0LiCOW and HOLISMOKES projects, which explore cosmological probes through gravitational lensing systems.

Education & Career:

• Postdoctoral roles at University of Bonn, UCSB, Stanford University, and faculty position at Academia Sinica
• Joined MPA/TUM in 2016 as part of the Max Planck@TUM program
