Sherri Baker

Sherri Baker is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Music at the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA), affiliated with the College of Liberal and Fine Arts. She has 20 years of teaching experience across diverse settings, including university class piano instruction for 17 years.

• Education: M.A. and B.M. in Music Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville

Her research interests focus on Music Education and Piano Pedagogy, with a career dedicated to developing pedagogical frameworks for piano instruction and music curriculum design.
