Sherif Mohamed

Professor Sherif Mohamed serves as the Head of School and Dean (Surveying and Built Environment) & Dean (Research Infrastructure) at the School of Surveying and Built Environment, University of Southern Queensland (Springfield Campus). With a career spanning academia and research leadership, his work focuses on construction/project management, infrastructure resilience, risk analysis, and workplace safety.

• Education: BSc in Construction Engineering (Zagazig University), MSc in Advanced Structural Engineering (University of Southampton), PhD in Structural Engineering (University of Southampton).

His research intersects civil engineering, organisational studies, and occupational health & safety, addressing critical challenges in infrastructure asset management and project planning. As a supervisor, he guides research in these areas.
