Dr. Sheng Yang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph. He leads the Design Innovation and Intelligent Manufacturing (DIIM) lab, focusing on advancing additive manufacturing, generative design, and smart manufacturing technologies. His research integrates IoT, big data analytics, and bio-inspired design to address challenges in aerospace, green energy, and healthcare.
