Sheng-Chiang John Lee

Dr. Sheng-Chiang John Lee serves as Professor of Physics and Chair of the Physics Department at Mercer University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where he leads academic initiatives and research in physical sciences.

His educational foundation includes:

• B.S. in Physics from National Taiwan University
• Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Maryland

Dr. Lee specializes in experimental condensed matter physics with cross-disciplinary applications in medical physics and solid-state device engineering. His research bridges fundamental material properties with practical healthcare technologies, particularly through investigations of semiconductor behaviors and electromagnetic phenomena in biological contexts. Teaching responsibilities span foundational to advanced coursework including algebra- and calculus-based Physics, Thermal Physics, Solid State Devices, Electromagnetic Theory, Scientific Computing, and Medical Physics.
