Shelley L. Johnson

Dr. Shelley L. Johnson is a Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati in 2001. Previously, she served as assistant professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and associate professor at Kent State University.

• Victimization patterns
• Drug court operations
• Offender assessment methodologies

Dr. Johnson consults with state, local, and national agencies to improve evidence-based practices in community corrections and offender rehabilitation programs.
