Shawna Johnston

Dr. Shawna Johnston is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen's University, with a cross-appointment to the Department of Urology. She serves as the head of the Division of Urogynaecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. Her roles include Program Medical Director at Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Deputy Editor of the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada (JOGC).

Research focuses on non-invasive diagnostics for urinary incontinence, nonsurgical urodynamic stress incontinence management, and menopause-related urogynaecology. She has presented internationally and holds leadership roles in academic and clinical organizations.
