Shawn E. Graham

Dr. Shawn E. Graham is an Associate Professor of Counseling and Unit Chair at the University of Maine at Fort Kent (UMFK). He holds licenses as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), and Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician – Community (MHRT/C). His expertise spans over 25 years in behavioral health, with a focus on trauma, peer support, and integrating physical and behavioral health. Dr. Graham earned his BS in Social Science from UMFK, an MS in Counseling Rehabilitation from the University of Southern Maine, and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands.

Research interests include trauma intervention for first responders, mental health counseling strategies, and workplace communication dynamics. His work emphasizes practical applications in emergency services and organizational settings.
