Shawn Decker is a Professor in the Sound and Art and Technology Studies departments at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). His work bridges music composition, visual arts, and performance, employing electronic and physical media to explore natural and unnatural worlds. Notable collaborations include partnerships with Jan Erik-Andersson, Anne Wilson, and Jan Tichy.
