Shawn Davis

Shawn Davis is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he has been since 2022. He previously served as Director of the Master’s Program in Psychology at the University of Nottingham (UK) and held the position of Research Professor in the Doctoral Program at Pacific University, Oregon. His expertise spans computer-delivered health communication, social media's role in relationships, technological societal impacts, and the psychological mechanisms of computational propaganda.

Dr. Davis earned his Master’s in Experimental Psychology from Stephen F. Austin University and his PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Houston. His research integrates technology’s psychological implications across multiple domains.
