Shawn Cowper, MD, is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in dermatopathology and alopecia research. He discovered Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF) linked to gadolinium-based contrast agents, leading to FDA regulatory changes.
