Sharron Scott is an Instructor at Widener University, affiliated with the Organizational Development & Leadership programs. Her work focuses on educational equity, Black history and culture, and the experiences of marginalized groups in post-secondary education.

Education
Her research examines systemic disparities in American education, particularly for racially minoritized populations, through studies on college access, equity, and persistence. Recent publications highlight trends in equity in higher education, with a focus on racial disparities in undergraduate and graduate settings, dissertation completion barriers, and identity-based challenges faced by Black students. Collaborative work with colleagues in journals like the Journal of PostSecondary Student Success and Journal of Negro Education underscores her commitment to addressing structural inequities.
