Sharon Jarvis

Sharon Jarvis is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Educational Studies (EDST) within the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She specializes in adult education and qualitative research methodologies, with a focus on Indigenous Studies, critical theory, and transformative learning.

Her research interests include adult teaching and learning, autoethnography, experiential learning, Indigenous Métissage, Métis Research, and place-based research. She also explores postcolonial studies, social emotional learning, and panpsychism through interdisciplinary lenses.
