Sharon Comstock is a Teaching Assistant Professor at the School of Information Sciences, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on applying asset-based principles and Community of Inquiry (CoI) theory to mixed-methods outcomes-based design and evaluation in formal and informal learning environments, particularly emphasizing information behaviors that support young people navigating complex systems.
