Shaohua Guo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Asian Languages and Literatures at Carleton College since 2014. Their academic work focuses on Chinese language instruction and cultural studies.
- Education: MA from Beijing Normal University, PhD from The University of Texas at Austin
Research interests center on Chinese language acquisition, media representation, and cultural context. They have taught courses ranging from elementary Chinese to advanced topics in cinema and media studies.
