Shaobing Su

Shaobing Su is an Assistant Professor at UMass Chan Medical School's T.H. Chan School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He directs the Family Resilience and Child Development (FRCD) Lab, focusing on health disparities among children affected by family separation due to migration and immigration.

Research spans developmental psychology, child mental health, migration impacts, and cultural studies, with recent work on autism in immigrant families and resilience in left-behind children. He received the 2024 ISSBD Early Career Scholars Travel Award and mentors student research assistants at the FRCD Lab.
