Shao Huilin is a Professor at National University of Singapore (NUS), specializing in biomedical engineering and nanotechnology. He holds dual PhDs in Biophysics (Harvard University) and Medical Engineering (Harvard-MIT HST), along with a dual BA in Biological Sciences and Physics from Cornell University.
His research focuses on developing advanced diagnostic tools using circulating biomarkers (exosomes, extracellular vesicles) and nanomaterials. Key areas include point-of-care assays, microfluidic systems, and highly sensitive sensors (magnetic/optical/electrical).
