Shanti Garman is a doctoral candidate and Lecturer at the University of Washington (UW) Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), affiliated with the Sensor Systems Lab. Her work bridges research in wireless power transfer, low-power communication, and electromagnetic systems, with applications for space missions and Earth-based technologies. She actively contributes to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in engineering.
