Shannon Miller, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Scripps Research, with joint appointments in Immunology & Microbiology and the Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences. Her research focuses on developing technologies for in vivo genome editing to treat genetic diseases. Key areas include AAV vector engineering, large DNA manipulation methods, and CRISPR therapeutic optimization using chemically modified sgRNAs.
