Shane McGlynn

Shane McGlynn is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Loyola University New Orleans. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Tulane University and a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Louisiana State University (LSU). His research focuses on experimental chemical physics, particularly gas phase and high vacuum laser spectroscopy of reactive systems.

His recent publications (submitted to Chemical Physics) examine the reaction dynamics of bromine atoms with hydrogen and hydrocarbon systems under controlled kinetic energies.
