Shane Artis is a Lecturer in Postgraduate Pharmacy Education at the School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy, Keele University. His role involves teaching and assessing across the School’s postgraduate clinical pharmacy courses, including the Independent Prescribing course and secondary care (hospital) programs. He also contributes to undergraduate clinical examination skills modules.
Shane’s research and scholarship focus on clinical pharmacy studies for community pharmacists, informed by his extensive experience as an NHS hospital pharmacist. He serves as a tutor on secondary care pharmacy programs and an assessor for Independent Prescribing.
