Shana Cui is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Oberlin College and Conservatory. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Florida (2023). Her research focuses on Industrial Organization, Regulation, Antitrust, Transportation Economics, and Applied Microeconomic Theory. She is affiliated with Rice Hall, where her office is located at Rice Hall 228.
Dr. Cui's work bridges theoretical and applied economic analysis, particularly in transportation networks and regulatory frameworks. Her recent publications explore platform competition dynamics, railway restructuring scenarios, and the impact of vertical integration on market collusion. She is committed to advancing policy-relevant research in infrastructure and competition policy.
