Shamya Karumbaiah is an Assistant Professor in the Learning Sciences department at the University of Wisconsin–Madison's School of Education. She holds a PhD in Learning Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania (2021) and previously served as a postdoc fellow at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research focuses on equitable and responsible use of AI in education, addressing algorithmic bias, and methodological innovations in learning analytics.
