Shamsul Qamar

Shamsul Qamar is a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at COMSATS University Islamabad. His research focuses on Computational Fluid Dynamics, Process Engineering, and Numerical Analysis. He has supervised 20 PhD and 39 MS students to completion, with 10 more currently under his supervision.

His publications primarily explore chromatography modeling, non-isothermal processes, and numerical simulation techniques. Recent articles investigate solvent-temperature gradients and adsorption isotherms in separation processes.

Professor Qamar has received multiple awards including the Best University Teacher Award 2014 and was listed among the Top 100 Engineers in 2011. He maintains research collaborations with the Max Planck Institute in Germany.
