Shamser Sinha

Shamser Sinha is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Youth Studies at the University of Suffolk, where he is affiliated with the School of Business, Arts, Social Sciences and Technology. His academic career focuses on critical examinations of race, migration, and youth experiences, with particular attention to methodological innovation in ethnographic research.

His research interests span several interconnected domains: the sociology of race and racism, youth studies (particularly among marginalized populations), ethnographic methodology, migration and asylum studies, and critical/postcolonial theory.
