Shamila Haddad

Dr Shamila Haddad is a Sydney Horizon Fellow (Senior Lecturer) at the University of Sydney's School of Architecture, Design and Planning. She holds a PhD in Architectural Science from the University of New South Wales (2016) and an MArch. Her work focuses on architectural science and technology, environmental sustainability, urban overheating mitigation, and indoor air quality.

Research interests include heat mitigation technologies, energy poverty, and health-focused architectural design. She is affiliated with the Sydney Environment Institute, Net Zero Institute, and University of Sydney Nano Institute.
