Shaina Neely is a Professor and the PMHNP Program Director at the Laura and Joe Street School of Nursing, West Texas A&M University. She joined the College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2018 and holds the endowed High Plains Christian Ministries Foundation Professorship in Psychiatric Mental Health. Research Interests:
Her work focuses on psychiatric mental health, family nurse practitioner practices, and nursing education. She integrates clinical expertise into academic leadership, particularly in program development for advanced nursing roles.
Teaching and Service:
She teaches in the Family Nurse Practitioner program and serves as Director of the Post-master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate program. Her administrative responsibilities include curriculum oversight and academic coordination in psychiatric nursing disciplines.
