Shahriar Nirjon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UNC Chapel Hill, where he leads research on embedded intelligence systems. His work focuses on developing ultra-low-power devices capable of adaptive machine learning for health monitoring and mobile applications. Dr. Nirjon's Intermittent Learning framework enables energy-harvesting devices to continuously adapt to changing environmental conditions and input patterns.
