Shahram Latifi is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the Center for Information and Communication Technology at UNLV. An IEEE Fellow and registered Professional Engineer, his research spans biometrics, data encryption, network security, and unmanned aerial systems.
He has developed graduate courses in bio-surveillance, image processing, and fault-tolerant computing. His work has been funded by NSF, NASA, DOE, and defense contractors including Boeing and Lockheed.
